SYSPREP creates an ISO image of a Microsoft Windows operating system (OS) that you can install and use on your computer or in a virtual machine. This image may include components that you don't use or that have changed since the last time you installed Windows.
This tool can create an ISO image of a Microsoft Windows 10 OS that you can install on your computer, but only in the Microsoft Windows 10 Anniversary Edition or the Windows 10 Enterprise Education Edition, not in the standard editions.
Creating a custom Windows 10 image is easy with sysprep. You can use a variety of Windows 10 images you can find online to customize the Windows 10 operating system that you use on your computer. You can then create an ISO image of the customized Windows 10 image.
Microsoft's ISO file format was developed to ensure that you can create multiple Windows OS images without having to make separate copies. You can convert your ISO image to a file format that is supported by other programs, such as an IMG file or RIPPED IMG file.
